Wedge wire filters use triangular profile wire wound around support rods to create precise, uniform V-shaped slot openings compared to standard cylindrical filters, resulting in higher flow rates and longer service life. They are ideal for applications requiring precise filtration under harsh operating conditions such as water treatment and solid-liquid separation.
The triangular profile wire creates V-shaped slots that are narrow at the top and wide at the bottom. As fluid passes through, the continuous shear force flushes away collected particles automatically, preventing blinding and enabling long service intervals. The SS316L construction and precision-welded support rods ensure long service life in demanding water treatment and industrial applications.
