Product Overview

Sintered Mesh Filters for
High-Pressure, High-Temperature Industrial Filtration

Sintered mesh filters are manufactured through high-temperature diffusion bonding compared to standard cylindrical filters, resulting in higher flow rates and longer service life. They are ideal for applications requiring precise filtration under harsh operating conditions such as high-pressure hydrocarbon processing and chemical processing.

Multiple layers of SS316L woven mesh are stacked and fused at high temperature through atomic diffusion — no binders, no welds — creating a single rigid element with precisely controlled pore distribution. All media, support layers, and structure are constructed from SS316L stainless steel and diffusion-bonded at high temperature for maximum structural integrity and consistent filtration performance across the full service life.

Uniform Pore Distribution

Each layer contributes to precise and consistent particle retention, reduces replacement frequency, and lowers overall operating costs.

sync

High-Pressure Rated

Diffusion-bonded structure handles up to 50 bar differential pressure. Sintered mesh filters can be backwash cleaned and reused across many service cycles, reducing total cost of ownership significantly.

High-Temp & Corrosion Resistant

SS316L construction with operating range from -268℃ to +371℃. Compatible with acids, solvents, hydrocarbons, and industrial chemicals.

verified
Passivation Quality Control — Every Unit Tested

All our stainless steel filters undergo bubble point testing to verify pore size consistency and filtration accuracy — ensuring corrosion resistance and preventing contamination. Each unit is verified with up to 200-point surface cleanliness test per kit before packaging.

Frequently Asked Questions — Sintered Mesh Filters

What is the maximum pressure rating for sintered mesh filters?

add

Sintered mesh filters handle differential pressures up to 50 bar due to their multi-layer diffusion-bonded structure. They are suitable for high-pressure hydrocarbon processing, chemical plants, and hydraulic systems where conventional filters would collapse.

How are sintered mesh filters manufactured?

add

Multiple layers of SS316L woven mesh are stacked and heated below melting point in a controlled atmosphere. Atoms diffuse across layer boundaries, fusing the structure into a single rigid element without any binder material. This gives sintered mesh its exceptional mechanical strength and consistent filtration accuracy.

What is the filtration micron range for sintered mesh filters?

add

Standard filtration ratings range from 1 um to 200 um. The multi-layer construction allows precise control of pore size distribution across the filter media depth. Sub-um ratings available for specialized applications.

What is the maximum temperature rating?

add

SS316L sintered mesh filters are rated from -200C to +600C. Special alloys (Hastelloy, Titanium) extend temperature capability further for corrosive or extreme temperature environments.

Can sintered mesh filters be cleaned and reused?

add

Yes. Sintered mesh filters are designed for repeated cleaning and reuse. Backwash cleaning with compatible liquids or compressed air is recommended. For high-temperature applications, thermal regeneration may be applicable.

What is included with each shipment?

add

Every filter undergoes bubble point testing, dimensional inspection, and passivation treatment. Material certificates (MTR) and inspection reports are included. No minimum order quantity for prototype samples.
